Commercial Water Damage and Quality Methodologies
This Columbus business center was flooded from a broken water line that flowed throughout the night. SERVPRO of South Columbus technicians used advanced methods to curtail the damage and minimize restoration time and costs. Our truck-mounted pumps extracted the bulk of the standing water on this commercial grade carpeting, which was glued to the floor with no padding. Once the water was pulled from the fibers, we set up axial box fans to create strong air circulation within the affected areas. This carried the remaining moisture from the carpet and walls and trapped it with LGR low grain refrigerant dehumidifiers. The large flex hoses then siphoned the condensed water to the exterior. Scientific principles and best practices ensure that SERVPRO maximizes efficiency in mitigating the effects of the water intrusion.
